Gbemisola Anthonia Adefuye, popularly known as Toni Tones, is a renowned Nollywood actress who doubles as a photographer. She entered the entertainment industry as the main photographer for the D’banj reality show. Her involvement opened countless opportunities before she eventually started to act.
Toni is famous for her roles in ‘Brotherhood,’ ‘King of Boys, and ‘Smart Money Woman.’ She has been nominated for several awards due to her roles in these movies.

Toni Tones is the last of the five children. She was born in Lagos State on July 20, 1985, although her family is originally from Odolewu, Ijebu-Ode, in Ogun state, Nigeria.
She attended Our Lady of Apostle Primary School, Yaba, and Queen’s College, Yaba, Lagos. After her secondary education, she pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Economics at the University of Lancaster, UK.
Toni then enrolled at Relativity Film School in Los Angeles to sharpen her acting skills. She is passionate about fashion, fitness, photography, swimming, and modeling.
Career
Toni began her career as a photographer in 2009. She learned photography for three months. Toni worked as a fashion and entertainment photographer, taking pictures of models and celebrities. Her impressive job attracted D’banj, which made him hire her as the official photographer for his ‘Koko Mansion’ reality show in 2009.
Working with him got her more opportunities in the industry and paved the way for her to work with other music stars and A-list magazines like Sound City, Genevieve, and Vanguard’s Allure.
At some point, Toni was a recording artist and eventually began her music career in 2011. She released her first official single, titled ‘I Know What You Like’ in 2013 and another in 2015, titled ‘Hey Boy,’ featuring Cynthia Morgan.
Toni Tones started out as an actress in 2014 when she played Beverly in the TV show ‘Deadline’ and Ms. Fatai in ‘Married to the Game.’ She also starred alongside Osas Ighodaro, Kemi Lala Akindoju, and Ini Dima-Okojie as a lead actress in the Award-winning TV series ‘The Smart Money Woman.’
Besides, she featured in the Netflix Original Movie ‘King of Boys’ in 2018 and the ‘King of Boys – The Return of the King’ in 2021.
