Who is the Founder of CCI?

CCI’s full meaning is the “Celebration Church International (CCI).” It is a global Christian church denomination headquartered in Lagos, Nigeria. The church has several branches outside Nigeria, such as the United States, the United Kingdom, and Canada. But the question is, who is the founder of CCI?

CCI’s founder is Pastor Emmanuel Aniefiok Iren. He started the church in Ikotun, Lagos, Nigeria, on November 11, 2012. Pst Iren is married to Laju Iren. There are several exciting things to know about him. Read on to discover them one after the other.

About Pastor Emmanuel Iren

Pastor Emmanuel Iren was born in Akwa Ibom, Nigeria, on December 18, 1989. He is a Nigerian pastor, singer, and songwriter.

In 2021, YNaija Magazine named him among the “100 Most Influential People in the Ministry in Nigeria”. His album, Apostolos, was also nominated for Kingdom Achievers Awards’ for the Album of the Year Award.

Emmanuel Iren

Personal Life (Early/recent)

Pastor Emmanuel Iren attended Saint Bernadettes Nursery & Primary School in Lagos, for his primary education. He completed his secondary education at Doregos Private Academy in Ipaja, Lagos.

Pst Iren attended Covenant University, Ota, where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Building Technology in 2011. He then enrolled at the University of Lagos, Nigeria, where he obtained an MBA.

Pastor Emmanuel and his wife, Laju, attended the same university for their first and second degree. They met while pursuing their Bachelor’s degree. The duo married in November 2014. They currently have three daughters and a son together.

Laju is now a bestselling author, filmmaker, and book-writing coach. She has published a number of books to provide self-help and motivate Christians.

About CCI Global

The Celebration Church International (CCI) is a well-known church denomination in Nigeria. It has more than 20 churches in four countries, These include Nigeria, the United States, the United Kingdom, and Canada.

CCI Global’s headquarters is in Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria. It has over 15 branches in Nigeria, including Abuja, Ibadan, Abeokuta, Uyo, and Port Harcourt.

History

The Celebration Church International (CCI) started as a campus youth fellowship program named “Triumphal Youth Fellowship” at Covenant University. It adopted “Pentecostal” as its doctrine.

The fellowship began in 2008, which Pastor Emmanuel Iren led while pursuing his first degree. Triumphal Youth Fellowship officially became a church (named Life Triumphal Church) in November 2012.

The church was renamed to CCI in 2014. It opened its first branch in Ikotun and subsequently moved to Ikeja.

Over time, CCI expanded to different parts of Nigeria and some countries abroad.

CCI currently have three evangelical ministries, which are as follows:

  • Outburst Music Group
  • Finding Salaam (Outreach Islam)
  • CelebKids & CelebTeens

The Outburst Music Group

The Celebration Church International’s Outburst Music Group is an evangelical ministry within CCI that produces Christ-centric music. They make use of music to teach the gospel.

Pastor Emmanuel Iren featured the Outburst Music Group in his first album (Kerygma) released in 2018. The album is a live recording of 15 tracks that are available for streaming and digital download.

Finding Salaam (Outreach Islam)

The Celebration Church International’s Finding Salaam ministry is the one that takes the Gospel to Muslim communities.

The evangelical ministry implements various strategies to spread Christianity to Muslims.

On the other hand, Finding Salaam enlightens Christians on who Muslims are and their beliefs.

Celeb Kids & CelebTeens

CCI children’s ministry is called “Celeb Kids & CelebTeens”. It aims to see children celebrate Christianity for a lifetime.

The ministry’s vision is to train children committed to the faith and will discipline others for Christ in return.

CCI Membership Classes

The Celebration Church International has three membership classes as follows:

New Enrollment Class

This membership class is ideal for Christians who are just joining the classes. You can register online on CCI’s official website.

Note that the classes are free and participants will receive a certificate upon completion.

Make-up Class

This CCI membership class allows members who missed one or multiple classes to make up for their losses.

Completed Membership Class

Once you’ve completed all your membership classes, the next thing is to fill out and submit the form in the Completed Membership Class section to get your membership certification.
