Who is Treyvon Williams?

Treyvon Williams, whose full name is Trayveon Thomas Williams, is an American football return specialist and running back presently playing for the NFL’s Cincinnati Bengals football team. He stands tall at 5′ 8″ and weighs 206 lb.

As of the National Football League’s 2023 Season, Week 15, he had a record of 5.1 Rushing average, 15 Receptions, 74 Receiving yards, 307 Rushing yards, and 646 Return yards.

Personal Life (Early/recent)

Treyvon Williams was born in Houston, Texas, on October 18, 1997. He completed his secondary education at C.E. King High School in Houston, where he rushed for 2391 yards and 25 touchdowns as a junior. As a senior, he had 20 touchdowns and rushed for 1409 yards.

In 2016, he subsequently enrolled for his higher education at Texas A&M University. He graduated in 2018 with a business minor and a major in recreation, parks, tourism, and science (RPTS).

College career

Treyvon Williams’ collegiate debut was against the UCLA Bruins football team in 2016. He was named the SEC Freshman of the Week after earning 127 yards and an 89-yard rushing touchdown while playing against the Auburn Tigers football team. His next match was against the Arkansas Razorbacks football team, where he had two rushing touchdowns and 153 rushing yards.

On October 8, 2016, his team played against the Tennessee Volunteers football team, where he earned a rushing touchdown and 217 rushing yards. That made him the first freshman in the school to rush for a thousand yards in a season. In his sophomore season, he had 798 rushing yards, playing against the UCLA Bruins football team in 2017.

Treyvon Williams broke two of the school’s records in the 2018 Gator Bowl and the Gator Bowl record for single-game rushing yards.

Professional career

  • 2019/20 – Cincinnati Bengals drafted Treyvon Williams, which marks the beginning of his professional football career. He played 11 games as a rookie.
  • 2020 – Williams recorded 157 rushing yards in ten games in the 2020 season.
  • 2021 – The Bengals waived Williams on August 31, 2021, and re-signed him into a practice squad the following day. He appeared in five games in the 2021 season as part of the reserve and special teams.
  • 2022 – The Bengals cut him on August 30, 2022, but re-signed him the following day.
  • 2022 – Treyvon Williams started the 2022 season as the fourth running back, following Joe Mixon.
  • 2023 – The Cincinnati Bengals football team re-signed Williams for a one-year contract on March 16, 2023. Unfortunately, he suffered an ankle injury on arrival at the training camp, making him leave the practice field.
  • 2023 – Williams was named the second running back for the season, following Mixon.
