Who is Tre King?

Tre King is an American football player who is a current running back for an Indoor Football League (IFL) team, Tulsa Oilers. He stands at 5’ 11” and weighs 190 pounds. King was formerly part of the college football team at the Texas Tech University and the Cologne Centurions football team.

Tre King was born in Wichita, Kansas, USA, and is one of five siblings. He attended Wichita Heights High School in Wichita, Kansas, and Texas Tech University, where he was part of the Texas Tech Red Raiders football team.

Career

Tre King was undrafted in 2019. He committed to Hutchinson Community College after his last year at Wichita Heights High School. King eventually joined the Hutchinson Blue Dragons team in Hutchinson, Kansas.

During his junior career, Tre King quickly rushed for more than 1,000 yards and had 18 touchdowns, leading the Flacons to the playoffs. That made him an All-Class honor on the Topeka Capital-Journal.

He completed his junior season after participating in all 13 games in the regular season and running for 623 yards. His final college season ended with 160 yards and six game appearances after suffering a knee injury. He also suffered a major injury as a sophomore in 2015, making him unable to complete the season after 352 yards and five touchdowns.

King joined the Texas Tech Red Raiders football program after his 2016 season and transfer to Texas Tech University.

He scored a touchdown against the Eastern Washington Eagles football team in his first game in the 2017 season.

Tre King started his professional football career in 2022 when Cologne Centurions signed him to join their player’s roster. Tulsa Oilers signed him on October 5, 2022, and remains part of their team.
