Segilola Ogidan was born in Ondo State, Nigeria, on October 9, 1985. She attended Laurel Nursery and Primary School, Isolo, for her basic education. Segilola completed her secondary education at Vivian Fowler Secondary School, Surulere, Lagos.
She earned her first degree in Media Arts and Film Making at the Royal Holloway University, London.
Afterward, she enrolled for her Master’s at the University of Bristol, UK, where she majored in screenwriting.
Segilola Ogidan is married to Bola Ogidan, a business magnate, who was once the general manager of Iroko TV partner and is currently the CEO of Pirano Energy.
They wedded in 2012 and have two children together.
Segilola has been passionate about acting since she was a kid. She participated in dramas and stage plays in Church and school. When she graduated from the university, she began to audition for movie roles.
