About San Antonio Brahmas

The San Antonio Brahmas is a professional American football team that plays under the Exclusive Football League (XFL). It was created in 2022 as a replacement for the LA Wildcats and they play their home games at the Alamodome.

They have the sixth highest win percentage among all XFL teams that took part in the 2023 regular season games.

History

San Antonio became a part of the XFL operated cities in 2022, replacing the Los Angeles Wildcats.

The XFL was initially run by Alpha Entertainments, after it was purchased, the new owners replaced the Los Angeles franchise with San Antonio Brahmas.

In July, 2022, Hines Ward was announced as the first head coach and the Alamodome as the team’s home stadium.

Months later,the logo was unveiled and the team name was announced as San Antonio Brahmas.

On December 8, the team uniform was unveiled and the official team colors revealed as Yellow, Black and Grey.

The first quarterbacks allocated to the team were Jawon Pass and Anthony Russo, and their first running back was Jacques Patrick.

Their first game was in February 2023 and at the end of the season, they finished with an overall record of 3–7.

They had a 14.3% win, 71.4% loss and a 14.3% tie in the just conluded XFL regular season games.

The team won against the Orlando Guardians by 2-0 and had a tie score of 1-1 with the Arlington Renegades.

They lost by 0-1 in their games against the Vegas Vipers, DC Defenders, Seattle Sea Dragons and St. Louis Battlehawks.

They also lost to the Houston Roughnecks by 0-2.
