Who is Madre London?

Madre London is an American football player who holds the running back position. He stands at 6’ 1” and weighs 218 pounds. Madre has played in several leagues and with different football teams.

These include The Spring League (TSL) Alphas, Fan Controlled Football (FCF) Glacier Boyz, Cologne Centurions, and Pittsburgh Maulers.

He is well-known for his achievements in the 2021 ELF season, the inaugural season of the European League of Football (ELF). The most notable of them is being the Most Valuable Player in the league.

Personal Life (Early/recent)

Madre London was born in Little Rock, Arkansas, USA, on January 27, 1996. He first attended Bryant High School in Arkansas, where he rushed for 969 yards and had 13 touchdowns, leading the Hornets to a Conference title. Madre then transferred to St. Thomas Aquinas High School, Fort Lauderdale, Florida, to complete the remaining two years of his high school education.

He received the Sun-Sentinel second-team all-Broward County honors during his senior year for rushing 871 yards and 16 touchdowns.

As regards his university education and college career, Madre London played college football at Michigan State University and the University of Tennessee. He was part of the Michigan State Spartans while attending MSU. During his study period between 2014 and 2017, he had eight touchdowns and rushed for 924 yards. Madre graduated in May 2018 with a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology.

Madre joined the University of Tennessee as a graduate transfer student, where he played with the Tennessee Volunteers, recorded 206 yards, and had three touchdowns.

Career

Madre London was undrafted in 2019 and signed by TSL Alphas on October 17, 2020. The Alphas won against the Conquerors, which happened to be his last game with the team as their subsequent games were cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Madre then joined FCF Glacier Boyz in 2021, where he recorded 13 carries for 41 yards and 3 receptions for 23 yards in the season.

Cologne Centurions signed Madre ahead of the 2021 EFL season. He rushed for 269 yards and three touchdowns but lost to the Panthers Wrocław in his league debut game.

Madre also rushed for 352 yards and four touchdowns playing against the Barcelona Dragons and his team won 40–12. For this, he was named the week two MVP.

The Centurions signed him again in September 2021 for the 2022 season. However, Pittsburgh Maulers signed him as a last-minute replacement for De’Veon Smith, who now plays for the Arlington Renegades football team. He joined the team in April 2022, just before the USFL’s inaugural season.

On August 8, 2023, Madre London signed another contract with the Maulers, which didn’t last long as the team dissolved due to USFL and XFL’s merger to form the United Football League (UFL).
