Who is Lamar Mady?

Lamar Mady is an American football player who currently plays center position for IFL’s Arizona Rattlers. He stands tall at 6’ 2” and weighs 144 kg. Lamar started his football career in 2013 when the Oakland Raiders football team signed him as an undrafted free agent.

He played for the team until 2015 when he joined the Hudson Valley Fort. The Arizona Rattlers signed him in 2016, and he is still part of the team playing with jersey #94.

Personal Life (Early/recent)

Lamar Mady was born in Omaha, Nebraska, USA, on December 13, 1990. He attended Topeka High School (THS) in Topeka, Kansas, where he played as a defensive tackle and center. Lamar transferred from Butler County Community College in Oak Hills, Pennsylvania, where he was named first-team All-Region VI and first-team All-Jayhawk Conference. He then enrolled in Youngstown State University, Youngstown, Ohio, USA, where he played 22 games without allowing a pressure or sack.


Lamar Mady started his professional football career on September 2, 2013, when the Oakland Raiders signed him into their practice squad as one of their undrafted free-agent signings. He joined the team before the National Football League (NFL) 2013 regular season commenced. On September 23, 2013, he became part of their active players’ roster due to injuries suffered in the team’s offensive line.

During his junior career, he was the second-team All-Centennial League selection as a center, making him one of the standout players in the league. He was also the first-team All-Centennial League pick during his senior career.

Lamar Mady Arizona Rattlers

On September 1, 2015, the Raiders waived him, making him on a waiver wire and available for claims by other teams. Lamar subsequently played for FXFL’s Hudson Valley Fort football team in the fall of 2015. Barely two months after, on November 5, 2015, Lamar was assigned to the Arena Football League’s Arizona Rattlers. The Rattlers re-signed him on November 16, 2016, as they joined the Indoor Football League (IFL).

Lamar Mady was named First-team All-Indoor Football League after the 2017 season. On July 8, his team defeated the Sioux Falls Storm 50–41 in the 2017 United Bowl. He was again signed with the Arizona Rattlers on August 28, 2017.
