Kyle Kramer P was born on August 13, 1997, in Glen Ellyn, Illinois. He grew up playing football, baseball, and basketball, but his passion was always for football. Kyle attended Glenbard West High School in Glen Ellyn, where he was a standout punter and kicker.
As a senior, Kramer averaged 41.7 yards per punt and placed 14 of his 30 punts inside the opponent’s 20-yard line. He also kicked a 52-yard field goal, which was a school record. They named him to first-team all-conference and academic all-state.
Kramer received many invitations from several Division I colleges. In the end, he ultimately chose to attend Monmouth University in West Long Branch, New Jersey.
As a redshirt freshman in 2016, Kramer averaged 41.7 yards per punt, which was the second-highest average in the Football Championship Subdivision (FCS). He also placed 24 of his 40 punts inside the opponent’s 20-yard line.
Career – Kyle Kramer P
Kyle Kramer continued to excel in his sophomore and junior seasons. They named him to first-team All-MAC in 2017 and was the MAC Punter of the Year. He also set an FCS record with 40 punts inside the 20-yard line.
After the junior season, Kramer signed with the Baltimore Ravens as an undrafted free agent. However, the Ravens cut him before the start of the regular season, but he was later signed to the practice squad. Kramer was promoted to the active roster in December 2018 and made his NFL debut that month.
He spent the next two seasons with the Ravens. Then got waived by the Ravens in 2020 and was signed by the New Orleans Saints. Yet again, he was cut by the Saints before the start of the 2021 season.
Kramer signed with the Memphis Showboats of the USFL in 2022. He averaged 42.7 yards per punt for the Showboats and was named to the All-USFL team.
Kyle Kramer P signed with the Michigan Panthers of The Spring League in 2023. He averaged 42.3 yards per punt for the Panthers and helped them win the TSL championship.
