Who Is Jude Dike?

Jude Dike is the CEO and co-founder of GetEquity, a private and secure marketplace for digital securities. It enables companies to digitize and liquidate their assets by linking them with investors and groups.

He is also a Venture Capital partner at Wefunder and RaliCap. Wefunder is the world’s largest crowdfunding platform, while RaliCap is an early-stage venture capital company focused on the financial technology industry.

Personal Life (Early/recent)

Jude Dike grew up in Lagos. He spent most of his life in Yaba, Lagos, and still lives there. His parents were civil servants, and he was the only son.

He started using a computer at the age of four. His parents didn’t allow him to go outside to play, which inspired him to tech, as he played video games on his computer with friends who visited him. He speaks English and Igbo fluently.

Jude earned his first degree at UNILAG, Lagos. He studied from 2011 to 2016 for a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.

He then pursued an MMS in Computer Science at NIIT University, Neemrana, India. His study period was from 2012 to 2013, and he completed the program with Second Class Upper.

Career – Jude Dike

Jude Dike has volunteering experience, as he participated in the Microsoft Code Week 2015 volunteering program. He taught children aged between 4 to 13 programming by creating games using Scratch programming language and Kodu Game Lab.

Jude Dike also possesses vast experience as a professional software engineer and programmer. He has worked on several projects in Nigeria and overseas revolving around tech and finance.

He started his career at Comflo Inc. in 2018 as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and Engineering Manager. However, he only worked for a while in this company as he sought more opportunities and experiences.

In 2019, he joined Project Hydro as a Blockchain Engineer. His employment lasted about one year, as he moved to work with Ethereum Push Notification Service in 2020. He held the Senior Software Engineer position.

Furthermore, he worked at Arist and the Concourse Open Community as their Senior Software Engineer. He was also Africave’s Senior Software Engineer and Head of Product.

He recently held a position as a Software Engineer at Teller Finance.
