Jennifer Lawrence has two older brothers: Ben and Blaine. Her mother, Karen, was a summer camp manager, while her father, Gary, owned a construction company.

She attended Kammerer Middle School in Louisville, Kentucky. As her mother trained her to be rowdy like her brothers, her childhood wasn’t enjoyable like her peers. She had to battle with hyperactivity and social anxiety. Fortunately, her anxieties left her when she had her first on-stage performance, which was a great relief to her.
