Who is Jamal Miles?

Jamal Miles is an American football player for the Arizona Rattlers football team. He stands at 5’ 9” and weighs 190 pounds. Jamal was part of the Jacksonville Jaguars football team for barely a year in 2013. Edmonton Eskimos signed him that same year for one year until 2014.

He has been playing for the Arizona Rattlers since 2017 and is still part of the team. Jamal wears jersey #2 as a wide receiver for the team.

Jamal Miles was born on February 28, 1991, in Peoria, Arizona, USA. He attended Peoria High School and Arizona State University. During his high school days, he was among the first-team All-4A conference selection after rushing for 2,168 yards.

He was rated No. 6 in Arizona by Rivals.com, a network of college football and basketball Sports recruiting information owned by Yahoo Inc. Jamal played college football while studying at Arizona State University.

Career

Jamal Miles was mainly a return specialist during his time at college and became one of Arizona State’s best return men. He contributed as a receiver and in the backfield.

Jamal was undrafted in the 2013 NFL Draft. He started his professional career when the Jacksonville Jaguars signed him as an undrafted free agent on April 28, 2013. The Jaguars waived him a few months later on August 19, 2013. Upon his release, he joined the Edmonton Eskimos on September 4, 2013.

On January 17, 2017, the Indoor Football League’s Arizona Rattlers signed him as a wide receiver. On July 8, his team defeated the Sioux Falls Storm 50–41 in the United Bowl championship.

Jamal Miles had the highest touchdowns in the Rattlers, with 24 total touchdowns in the 2019 season. He recorded one kick return, seven rushing, and 16 receiving touchdowns. On the other hand, he ranked second with 496 receiving yards and 41 catches.

In the 2021 season, he had up to 16 touchdowns, comprising of 5 rushing touchdowns and 11 receiving touchdowns. He also recorded 584 yards in 2021, of which 96 of them were on the ground.

Jamal Miles has received only a few awards and recognitions since he started his football career, including:
