Henry William Dalgliesh Cavill is a British actor renowned for acting as Superman in The Man of Steel (2013), Batman v Superman (2016), Justice League (2017), and Black Adam (2022).

Personal Life (Early/recent)

Henry Cavill was born into a Roman Catholic family as the fourth of five boys. His father, Colin Cavill, worked as a stockbroker, while his mother, Marianne Dalgliesh, was a secretary in a bank.

He attended St Michael’s Preparatory School in St. Saviour and Stowe School in Stowe, Buckinghamshire. Henry was actively involved in drama and sports while studying at Stowe. His favorite sports were rugby and field hockey.

While playing rugby in 2000, he met a famous actor, Russell Crowe, on a movie set. Russell gave him some acting tips and subsequently sent him a package. He and Henry were featured in the Man of Steel movie many years later.

Henry Cavill grew up as an avid gamer to the extent that he once missed a phone call to take the role of Superman while being too excited playing a video game. His father introduced him to playing games on PC. Ever since then, he has preferred computer games to consoles.

When it comes to his past relationships, there are only a few things to say. He engaged Ellen Whitaker, an English show jumping ride, in 2011 until they called it quits in 2012. He is currently not married or engaged to anyone.

Henry Cavill started his acting career in the movie “Laguna,” where he took the role of Thomas Aprea. He auditioned for the 007 James Bond role in 2006 but lost it to James Bond.
