Who Is Enyinna Nwigwe?

Chief Enyinna Anderson Nwigwe, popularly known as Enyinna Nwigwe, is a Nollywood actor, Model, Host and Brand Influencer.

He has been in entertainment since his period of studies in the University.

He is one of the few Nollywood actors that has graced the international screen with his talent.

The exact movie that brought him to the limelight is unknown, but he is renowned for his role in ‘The Wedding Party’, ‘Black November’ and ‘Dear Affy’.

Enyinna loves to cook and show off his culinary skills on Instagram. Despite his love for food, he is very passionate about staying in shape, so he hits the Gym regularly.

Enyinna is also a model and brand ambassador for several businesses like American Express, Access Bank,  Amstel Nigeria, Airtel and Glenfiddich.

He portrays himself as representative for ‘Alta global media’ and ‘Man in the kitchen’

He was the show host for Pyramid Game Show Nigeria, a show organized by Sony Pictures Television Entertainment and Mekdoss International.

Personal Life (Early/recent)

Enyinna Nwigwe is an indigene of Ngor Okpala, Imo State, Nigeria. He was born on September 18, 1982 in Benue State, Nigeria where he had his early years.

He grew up with his parents, two sisters and a brother. His parents are  retired civil servants.

Between 2004 and 2008, he attended University of Calabar, where he obtained a Bachelor’s degree from the Department of Economics.

In December 2021, Enyinna was bestowed with a traditional title in Logara community, Imo State.

Under the kingship of HRH Felix I. Njoku, the Ogaraku II of Logara, Enyinna was honored with the title ‘Chi Turu Ugo’, which means ‘One Crowned by God’

This recognition came as a result of the selfless work he does at his charity organization ‘Enyinna Nwigwe Foundation’.

Career

Enyinna began his career as an organizer of fashion shows and customer for models while he was still in school.

He was also a magazine, print and runway model. During one of his projects, he met Jeta Amata, a filmmaker and director in Calabar and expressed his interest in acting. 

In 2005, he made his acting debut as Tony in ‘Wheel of Change’. In the movie, he starred with Desmond Elliot, Fred Amata, and Stella Damascus.

His next role was as Gubabi in ‘Last Game’. Since then he has featured in several local and international movies.

His first role in a series was as Ukoh in one episode of the 2008 television series ‘Mary Slessor’, followed by his role in ‘Secrets and Scandals’.

In 2012, he was cast alongside Kim Basinger, Vivica A. Fox, Akon, and Wyclef Jean in the Hollywood film ‘Black November’.

In 2017, he had another international role. This time he played George in the South African film ‘All About Love’.

He was the main character alongside Kehinde Bankole, Williams Uchemba and Bimbo Ademoye in the 2020 romcom movie ‘Dear Affy’.

The following year, he got another lead role as Tare in ‘Cold Feets’. Starring Jim Iyke, Beverly Naya and Joselyn Dumas.

Some of the latest movies where Enyinna was cast include Love Trap, Silent Baron, Third Party, Kofa, Hell Ride.

Enyinna is also a movie producer. Some of the movies he has produced include Black Gold, The Amazing Grace and Black November.
