Who is Elijah Elliott?

In the heart of Houston, Texas, a young basketball prodigy named Elijah Elliott has been destined to make his mark on the hardwood. He attended Jack Yates High School. He became a standout basketball player while in high school.

As a senior, he averaged 16.7 points, 5.2 rebounds, 4.8 assists, and 4.3 steals per game. At the moment, Elijah Elliott attends and plays for the University of Texas at Rio Grande Valley. He’s currently averaging 16.6 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 2.4 assists per game for the Vaqueros.

Personal Life (Early/recent)

Born and raised in Houston, Texas, Elijah Elliott’s passion for basketball blossomed at an early age. Elijah Elliott passion for the sport was evident from the start.

While in high school, Elijah quickly established himself as a standout player at Jack Yates High School. As a senior, Elliott’s exceptional skills led him to average an impressively 16.7 points, 5.2 rebounds, 4.8 assists, and 4.3 steals per game.

Elijah Elliott’s contributions were instrumental in guiding his team to the Texas Class 4A semifinals. His remarkable performance earned him recognition as an All-District 23-4A player. Plus, a spot on the UIL 4A Regional III All-Tournament Team

Career as a Basketball Player 

Elijah Elliott’s journey into becoming a full-time basketball player started at Oklahoma Christian University, where he embarked on a one-season stint. During his freshman year, he consistently demonstrated his scoring prowess, averaging 15.5 points and 3.0 rebounds per game.

His talent and dedication were rewarded with All-Lone Star Conference Third Team and Lone Star Conference All-Freshman honors. In his quest for new challenges and opportunities, Elliott transferred to Mount Saint Mary’s University for the 2021–2022 season.

Despite playing in only 17 games for the Mountaineers, he continued to showcase his abilities, averaging 1.5 points per game. This experience furnished him with valuable exposure to a different collegiate basketball environment and further honed his skills.

Elijah Elliott’s Career Achievements

The 2022–2023 season marked a turning point in Elliott’s career as he transferred to Blinn College. During his time with the Buccaneers, Elijah experienced a breakout season. As such, he averaged 16.7 points, 3.6 rebounds, 3.6 assists, and 2.2 steals per game.

His exceptional performance earned him recognition as an NJCAA Division I All-American. He played a pivotal role in leading the Buccaneers to a national championship.

For the present season, Elijah Elliott joined the University of Texas at Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) as a senior. With the Vaqueros, he continues to showcase his talent.

So far, he’s averaging 16.6 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 2.4 assists per game. Elijah Elliott contributions have been instrumental in the team’s success. He’s poised to make a significant impact during his final collegiate season.
