Damilola Mike Bamiloye is a multifaceted Nigerian filmmaker, actor, scriptwriter, and devout Christian. He has made significant contributions to the Nigerian Christian film industry, commonly known as “Mount Zion Film Production.

Mike Bamiloye is also a passionate evangelist. He travels extensively around the world, ministering through drama and preaching.

Personal Life (Early/recent)

Damilola Mike Bamiloye, popularly known as D’Baba, was born on September 17, 1989, in Ilesa, Osun State, Nigeria. He is the eldest son of renowned drama evangelists; evangelist Mike Bamiloye, and evangelist Mrs. Gloria Mike Bamiloye.

He attended Oritamefa Baptist Model School (OBMS), Ibadan, for his primary education. Then went to Oritamefa Baptist High School, Ibadan, for his secondary education.

While growing up, the filmmaker said it was difficult for him to listen to his parents. Thankfully, he soon changed and gave his life to Christ in his teenage years.

After his secondary school, Damilola then proceeded to Bowen University, Iwo, Osun State, where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in mass communication in 2012. A year later, he went for his NYSC in Imo State.

Concerning the instruction he received from God, Damilola started working as a PA for his dad, Mike Bamiloye, when he finished his NYSC program.

He’s married to Dr. Emmanuella Mike Bamiloye, who is a medical doctor, blogger, and dramatist. They have two baby girls together.


Damilola Mike Bamiloye started his career in acting when he was a little boy. He acted in his first movie when he was just 15 years old. The title of the movie is “Youthful Lust.”

Damilola Mike Bamiloye’s passion for storytelling and his desire to use film as a tool for evangelism and moral transformation became evident early in his life. His father, Mike Bamiloye, is a renowned Christian filmmaker, and his mother, Gloria Bamiloye, is an actress and evangelist.

Growing up, Damilola was immersed in the world of Christian drama and film production. It laid the foundation for his future endeavors.

He has starred in and directed several popular gospel films. They include “The Train” (2015), “Gbemi” (2016), “Abigail” (2019), and “The Great Mistake” (2021).

Most notably, he produced the movie “The Train,” which showcases his father’s life. Furthermore, Damilola has a YouTube channel known for producing hit movies. A good example is the series “Abattoir,” a hit series created with the help of his brother, Joshua Mike Bamiloye.
