Jaylin Sellers is an American college basketball player; he’s 6’4 inches tall and weighs 180 lbs. He currently plays as a guard and is renowned for his versatility, scoring ability, and defensive prowess.

This G.O.A.T. is also a good rebounder and defender. He is a skilled passer and can create scoring opportunities for his teammates.

Jaylin is a young and skilled basketball player with a bright future ahead of him. He is expected to be a valuable asset to the UCF Knights and has the potential to play in the NBA someday.

The Early Beginning of Jaylin Sellers

Jaylin Sellers was born on September 19, 2000, in Columbus, Georgia. He’s from Columbus, Georgia, and attended Carver Montgomery High School in Montgomery, Alabama. He was a two-time all-state honoree.

As a sophomore, he was named his team’s MVP. As a junior, he was named All-Tri City Player of the Year. He also played on the AAU circuit with Team Carrol Premier.

Jaylin Sellers was a highly sought-after recruit out of high school. Such that ESPN, Rivals, and 247Sports ranked him as a three-star prospect.

Jaylin Sellers Basketball Professional Career

Sellers became committed to playing college basketball for Ball State University in 2021.

He played two seasons at Ball State University. As a freshman, he appeared in all 31 games, including five starts.

Jaylin Sellers averaged 6.7 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 1.2 steals per game. They named him to the 2022 MAC All-Freshman Team.

As a sophomore, Sellers averaged 18.0 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 2.6 assists per game. They named him to the second-team All-Mid-American Conference.

Seller appeared in 31 games, five of which were starts. Plus, 57 rebounds in addition to 207 points. During the game against Western Michigan on March 4, he scored a career-high 16 points.

During the game against IU-Kokomo (12/12) and another against Western Michigan (3/4), Sellers received a career-high five rebounds. So far, Jaylin Sellers has provided a career-high two assists three consecutive rate times. i.e., on February 1st against Ohio, on February 19th against Bowling Green, and on 26 February against Eastern Michigan.

Moving forward, Sellers transferred to the University of Central Florida after his sophomore season. He’ll be a key player for the Knights in the 2023–2024 season.

Jaylin Sellers is a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars. So far, he has played in 21 games, averaging 13.6 points and 4.3 rebounds. He had 2.1 assists per game.

Additionally, Sellers shot 42.9% from three-point range and was named to the All-AAC Second Team. He is also a member of the UCF Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and a junior at the University of Central Florida (UCF).
